Growing Together
Recently, I realized how little I cherish in the life the Lord has so graciously given to me. As a wife, mother, and pastor’s wife, I should cherish the things I hold dear and hopefully help other ladies to do the same!
Here are some simple ways that we can cherish those around us…
“I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day.” – II Timothy 1:3
We need to remember our spouse, our children, and our church in prayer now more than ever!
“My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.” – Proverbs 23:26
Let’s love those around us so much that they adore us and the things we do! Eventually, they will want to serve the Lord and to be a part of His church just like we are!
“In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God…the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to posses it.” – Deuteronomy 30:16
We need to help those around us and encourage them to love God so that they can receive a blessing from God!
“This book of the law, shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night…and then thou shalt have good success.” – Joshua 1:8
Challenge yourself to be the one in their life who is willing to fight the devil on their behalf with God’s word!
“…I have a goodly heritage” – Psalms 16:6b
We must supply our family with a godly home so that they can have refuge in this sinful world. Having godly homes is a great way to help strengthen our churches!
“And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” – II Timothy 3:15
There is nothing more important than making sure those around you are saved! Don’t miss the opportunity to tell those you love about Jesus!
“Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, the Lord hath done great things for them.” – Psalms 126:2
Living in this world can be challenging at times but we need to learn to enjoy our role, whatever it may be. When the world looks at us, they should see our Lords goodness and wonder what they are missing!
For your sake and the sake of those around you, remember to Cherish!
